Sept. 9-10: AFCEA SOLUTIONS Series Focuses On Information Assurance

AFCEA International is excited to continue its SOLUTIONS series of events with a symposium focused on Information Assurance, September 9-10, 2008, at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington D.C. Co-sponsored by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration, the event will be compact, with four focused tracks designed to promote interactive dialogue.
The AFCEA SOLUTIONS series promotes a detailed dialogue between government and industry on issues of global importance identified by the government. Having covered the topics of Information Sharing and Identity Assurance, the series will end with CyberSpace/CyberWarfare in December.
The Information Assurance conference contains four track sessions that will address assured information access, network resilience for mission assurance, risk management, and training and awareness. Track speakers include government, military and industry subject matter experts.

The conference will also feature tabletop exhibitors that will be showcasing their solutions to information assurance issues.
AFCEA is leveraging online tools to help facilitate communication and collaboration before, during, and after the events. A Wiki is available as an information repository a Google Group discussion site facilitates ongoing dialogue and streaming video and podcasts will allow those not able to attend in person to participate online.
