OpenLogic Sees Record Growth in First Half of 2008
Aggregated Support, OSS Governance and Provisioning Drives OpenLogic Expansion
OpenLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise
open source software solutions encompassing hundreds of open source
packages, today announced that it saw record growth in customers and
revenue due to strong interest from enterprises in its open source support,
provisioning and governance offerings.
"The maturity of open source in the enterprise has created a need for a
viable open source support vendor who can aggregate support and
indemnification for the hundreds of open source projects used by
enterprises, most of which have no other commercial support alternatives,"
said Steven Grandchamp, CEO of OpenLogic. "Through OpenLogic's Expert
Community and our support partner program, OpenLogic has been successful in
paying open source developers and commercial open source vendors to assist
OpenLogic's support team in delivering commercial-grade support to
enterprise users."
