Blueprint Execs to Provide Guidance on How to Select a BA Tool at Canada's Largest I&IT Education Conference

Blueprint, the leader in requirements solutions for
software business analysts, will be speaking at the upcoming Showcase
Ontario 2008 conference next week in Toronto. Blueprint's VP of Product
arketing, Tony Higgins, will be presenting on the topic of "Selecting a
Business Analyst Tool," at 2:30pm ET on Tuesday, September 9th.
Business Analysis is a rapidly maturing discipline. Processes are evolving
and becoming formalized. In this environment where everything is changing,
selecting tools that will still be relevant as the discipline evolves is,
to say the least, a challenge. A recent survey by analyst firm voke showed
that 91% of business analysts use tools that are ineffective and static,
the most common tool being Word. In his presentation, Mr. Higgins will
outline criteria to look for in a solution for the Business Analyst.
Blueprint will also be exhibiting at the Showcase, which runs from
September 8-10, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The company will be
showcasing its industry leading Blueprint Requirements Center 2009.
