Keiretsu Forum Southern California, the world's largest angel investment community, announces its first Venture Forum Conference, combining a successful venture forum model with that of an industry specific network of angels.

The forum will be held on September 25th and 26th, 2008, on The Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. The conference will include The Space Angels Network, Aerospace Venture Forum, a Charity Dinner and The Keiretsu Southern California Venture Forum.

The Space Angels Network, Venture Forum will feature twelve presentations from early stage/emerging growth companies in the aerospace industry. The Charity Dinner will celebrate the work of local charitable foundations along with the work of a charity chosen from within the space industry, The Conrad Foundation. The Keiretsu Forum Southern California Venture Forum will feature ten presentations from early stage/emerging growth companies in technology, life sciences, consumer products, cleantech, real estate, financial services, social ventures and other segments with high growth potential. Educational programs for investors will be offered throughout the conference as well as after lunch on the day of the Venture Forum.

"In our ongoing efforts to uncover the best early-stage investment opportunities and to support the entrepreneur community, we continuously look for emerging industries like aerospace," said Connie Koch, president of Keiretsu Forum Southern California. "We believe that partnering with Space Angels Network to promote the two Venture Forums will help us both accomplish our respective missions. By exposing our members to both Forums as well as including everyone in the Charitable Dinner and Educational Programs, we feel that we are supporting the general investment community, the participating entrepreneurs, the non-profit organizations and the investment industry as a whole."

The conference is designed to debut innovative and diverse ventures, showcase leaders and provide investors with platforms for the development of streamlined relationships. These relationships will catapult the syndication of investments throughout industries as well as throughout the country.

"Space Angels Network was established to connect high quality early stage aerospace ventures with investors looking to build innovative growth companies," said Guillermo Söhnlein, founder and managing director of Space Angels Network. "We knew from the moment we launched that we wanted to work closely with Keiretsu Forum, primarily because of its large worldwide network of investors with solid proven track records. We are thrilled at this unique opportunity to collaborate."

All presenting companies will be pre-screened by a select group of investors. Each entrepreneur will make a 12-minute presentation and will be available for additional discussion and due diligence throughout the day. Following the presentations, the attendees will engage in an open discussion about the participating companies and then vote on and award the top three presenting companies with the "Most Valued Company" award.
