HealthSouth to Hold Investor Meeting November 10, 2008

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HealthSouth Corporation (NYSE: HLS) today announced that it plans to hold its previously announced investor meeting inNew York City the morning of Nov. 10, 2008.

Jay Grinney, President and Chief Executive Officer, John Workman, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Mark Tarr, Executive Vice President, Operations will present HealthSouth's strategy, objectives and financial performance and discuss industry trends and dynamics.

Details and logistics of the meeting will be sent out at a later date.
