GlobalFit Sets Date for 2009 Worksite Wellness Summit

"Intimate Format" Suits the Event's Community-Building Goals

GlobalFit, a leading provider of healthy living benefits, has announced its 2009 Worksite Wellness Summit. Registration and sponsorship opportunities are now available for the May 14th Summit in Philadelphia.

The annual event offers a day-long exploration of how to build a healthier America through greater corporate involvement. "We're working toward a fully engaged community of concerned corporate citizens," said GlobalFit President and CEO, Frank Napolitano, "and the Summit provides us with a unique forum for information sharing and networking."

In 2008, Summit attendees included more than 125 wellness and benefits executives from companies as diverse as Johnson & Johnson, PNC Bank, Verizon, Publishers Clearing House and Aetna.

Amid the crowded field of wellness/benefits conferences, the GlobalFit Summit stands out with its sharply defined niche. "We see our Summit as a boutique event," Napolitano noted. "With strictly capped registration, we can offer our attendees a higher-quality experience, both during the presentations and when networking with each other."

"The quality of this event is top notch," stated Dave Cagliola, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Radnor Benefits Group; the employee benefits consultancy has been a Summit sponsor since the event's 2007 launch. As he plans to return for 2009, Cagliola observed that "the intimate format makes it conducive to having interaction with many of the attendees. GlobalFit really values the Summit sponsors and makes a tremendous effort to provide meaningful exposure and access to the attendees."

GlobalFit is now accepting sponsors for the 2009 Summit. The seven tiers of sponsorship extend opportunities to companies big and small. Most sponsorship levels include day-long booth display, exclusive session sponsorship, free summit registration(s), a website ad, logo placement on all materials, and inclusion in attendee 'goody bags.'

Officially titled "The GlobalFit Worksite Wellness Summit: the Foundation for a Healthier Workforce," the event will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Philadelphia's historic Down Town Club. Continuing education units will be available for certified human resources professionals. Registration and information on sponsorship opportunities are available online at www.globalfit.com/summit.
