Sentry Select Commodities Income Trust (TSX: SSJ.UN) Provides Details Regarding 2008 Annual Redemption

Sentry Select Capital Corp. ("Sentry Select") announces that unitholders of Sentry Select Commodities Income Trust (the "Trust") (TSX: SSJ.UN) who redeemed their units of the Trust effective August 29, 2008, will receive $10.26 per unit redeemed. Payment will be made on or before September 22, 2008. The redemption amount was determined in accordance with clause (ii) of the definition of Net Realized Proceeds per Unit set out in the Trust's Amended and Restated Declaration of Trust, as Sentry Select determined that it was not practicable to make the dispositions described in clause (i) of that definition.
