Cineplex Odeon Brantford Cinemas Closes and Makes Way for New Galaxy Cinemas Brantford
TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - Sept. 2, 2008) - Cineplex Entertainment (TSX:CGX.UN) announced today that Cineplex Odeon Brantford Cinemas officially closed its doors last night, to make way for the new state-of-the-art eight-screen Galaxy Cinemas Brantford which will open in late October 2008.

"We want Brantford residents to have a state-of-the-art theatre so we are opening a new theatre, Galaxy Cinemas Brantford, later this fall at 300 King George Road. It will be a dynamic entertainment destination that residents and visitors to Brantford will absolutely love and enjoy for years to come."
The new Galaxy Cinemas Brantford will feature all stadium rocker seating (each seat row will be 18" higher than the previous row), wall-to-wall, giant, curved screens; large, luxurious seats with ample legroom; Digital DLP projection systems; REAL D 3D technology and Dolby Digital Surround Sound. The spacious lobby will feature a Family Entertainment Centre that can be accessed without a movie ticket. The refreshment selection will be very broad including Outtakes that will offer Pizza Pizza, fresh cut fries, chicken tenders and nachos in addition to all the standard must-have movie fare including popcorn, soft drinks and Yogen Fruz low-fat and no-fat frozen yogurt and specialty ice cream treats.
