Open ICON 2008 at Busan BEXCO Starting from September 4 to 5

'ICON2008' will be in session for two days starting from September 4 - September 5. It is scheduled to have five tracks and fifty sessions. The five tracks include main keynote lecture entitled 'Keynote', hearing successful production cases from successful international and domestic game development teams, 'Game Track'. Comparing and analyzing between Korean and Japanese animation, 'Animation Track', technical specialty same as Hollywood CGI-Concept Art-VR Technology, 'Visual Track' and 'Special Track' which global enterprises including AMD, MS and others participate in.

This year newly established professional session entitled, 'Lecture focused on networking with speakers' will be presented with invited guests including Amano Yoshitaka, Murata Range, Kim Hyeong Duk and others showing a meaningful speech.

In addition, 'ICON2008' expands and implicates new contents like games, animations and images that offer a professional digital entertainment conference giving all the more synthetic information for contents developers.

Keynote Speakers are executive producer Harter Ryan of Microsoft Ensemble Studio famous for Age of Empires, Halo series, general manager Lynne Wilson of 3DVIA at international 3D experts, Dassault Systemes and producer Carl Rosendahl of Dreamworks animation creating Antz, Shrek as the keynote lecturers. The team of special project 'Blue Submarine No.6' which upgraded production technology of Japanese animation even more through the elaborate composition of 2D character and 3D background along with DTS Digital Theater System and the developing team of 'WFFM' at MGame that resurrected Korea MMORPG will participate to present the entire procedure starting from planning to developing at a glance.

In company with those, 'Event Session' joining with 'Kim Seong Ik' at Ntreev Soft and famous game developer 'Kim Hyeon Woo' will be opened and inviting director of ILM 'Hong Jae Chul' who representsHollywood as a CGI expert and 'Choi Gyu Don' at Sony Image Works will be invited to offer an opportunity of upgrading technical skill for the relevant field of workers attaining the latest tendency and technical acquirement.

Various subsidiary events including 'Production technical seminar of Digital Contents', 'Klatch with the invited developer of XBOX Halo Wars' and others are scheduled to be held.
