AcuTech Consulting Group Announces New Manager for Houston, Texas Office

AcuTech, a global leader in process safety and security risk management consulting, training, and software services, announces the appointment of Ms. Christie Arseneau as the Manager of the Southern Business Unit based in Houston, Texas.

AcuTech, a global leader in process safety and security risk management consulting, training, and software services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Christie Arseneau as the Manager of the Southern Business Unit based in Houston, Texas.

Ms. Arseneau, formerly the Global Manager for Process Safety for PPG Industries, has plant and corporate level experience in process safety and risk management, environmental, and occupational safety and health. She has served as a leader for process safety and risk management assessments. This work has comprised extensive experience in process safety auditing and specialized technical evaluations for manufacturing processes process hazard analyses, development of management of change programs, and strategic implementation plans for process safety.

Ms. Arseneau has worked closely with global manufacturing operations and their businesses to develop and implement strategies for executing process safety management systems. She has experience in establishing internal polices for process safety and implementing these policies globally through development of tools. She has experience in working with acquisition facilities to implement effective, risk based process safety management systems.

Ms. Arseneau has developed and delivered training courses in process safety and risk management for a variety of manufacturing facilities including chlor-alkali and derivatives, specialty chemicals and optical products, coatings and resins, and glass. She has delivered training to hundreds of personnel at varying levels of corporate organizations.

Ms. Arseneau is the Chair of the 2009 CCPS Global Congress on Process Safety - Process Safety Auditing Session. She was a member of the CCPS team that developed leading and lagging process safety metrics for use industry. In addition, she is also on the book committee for the CCPS Guidelines for Auditing Process Safety Management Systems. She is an active participant in the Executive Process Safety Seminar group. She is a previous member of the CCPS Technical Steering Committee, the American Chemistry Council Process Safety Committee, the Reactivity Management Roundtable, and the Design Institute for Emergency Relief Devices. She is also the former Chair of the CCPS On-line Content Subcommittee.
