Argentina and Canada Join Forces To Promote Tourist Landmarks

World-renownedNiagara Falls will be the perfect backdrop for Argentina Week, an event that will let visitors experience the sensuality of tango and surround them with the sound of harps and live orchestras. The colors and images of Argentina will be the decor of the restaurants that will feature authentic cuisine giving guests the opportunity to taste the famous beef empanadas, chimichurri sauce, and Mendoza wines. The fun continues at night with the colors of the fireworks and the special illumination of the waterfalls.

Tourists will have a unique chance in this event to learn about Iguazu Falls, one of the largest waterfalls on Earth, made up of 275 cascades that offer a spectacular sight. Located on Argentina Northeast, the falls are part of the Province of Misiones and were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Iguazu's surrounding rainforest boasts over 2,000 species of flora and fauna including tapirs, ocelots, jaguars and caimans.
