'UNCONVENTIONAL '08' Hottest Ticket at Dem Convention Wednesday Night

UNCONVENTIONAL '08 is being hosted by Manifest Hope Gallery andSan Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and celebrates youth participation in the 2008 election by honoring groups such as Young Democrats of America, College Democrats of America and Generation Obama, Students for Barack Obama and Young Voter PAC with this free concert.

UNCONVENTIONAL '08 will include a special appearance by comedienne Sarah Silverman and feature musical performances on the Street Party Stage by: Nada Surf; Cold War Kids; Clap Your Hands Say Yeah; the Silversun Pickups; and DJ Z-Trip.

UNCONVENTIONAL '08 will also feature performances on an intimate invite only VIP Gallery Collaborative Stage by: singer/songwriters Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie); Jenny Lewis; Jonathan Rice; Matthew Caws (Nada Surf); and Zooey Deschanel (She & Him).

The event will be held at the Manifest Hope Art Gallery on Wednesday evening, August 27, 2008. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are free and a limited amount will be available by visiting Manifest Hope Art Gallery at 2900 Larimer Street in Denver or by visiting http://www.Unconventional08.com.
