Pinnacle Entertainment Announces Executive Promotions for Information Technology
LAS VEGAS, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc.
(NYSE: PNK) today announced that Guido Bologna has been promoted to the newly
created position of Vice President of Information Technology (I.T.). Russell
Stokes, who most recently served as Director of Strategic Systems, has been
promoted to Senior Director of I.T. Operations and Applications. Both
promotions are effective immediately.
In his new role, Mr. Bologna will be responsible for the Company's
software and infrastructure technology, with direct oversight and
accountability for all system, network, application and integration processes.
He assumes many of the operational duties of Carol Pride, the company's former
Chief Information Officer, who has left the company to pursue other business
opportunities. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Bologna served as Pinnacle's
Director of I.T. Infrastructure.
A native ofCornwall, N.Y., Mr. Bologna holds a bachelor's of science
degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State
University. Prior to joining Pinnacle in 2006, Mr. Bologna served as a
consultant to Smart Connect; Director of Technology at Wynn Resorts; Director
of Strategic Systems at National Airlines, Inc.; and Systems Consultant with
Qwest Internet Solutions.
Mr. Stokes, who most recently served as Pinnacle's Director of Strategic
Systems, will be responsible for all industry operational applications and
day-to-day activities and processes at the properties. Previously, Mr. Stokes
served as Director of I.T. for the Company's Belterra Casino Resort & Spa in
Vevay, Indiana; I.T. Manager at the Wyndham El Conquistador Resort & Spa; and
Director of I.T. at the St. Croix Casino & Hotel inSt. Croix. He holds an
associate degree in information system management from the Wisconsin
Indianhead Technical College.
