Foneshow Distributes the Stephanie Miller Show From DNC and RNC On-Demand via Any Mobile Phone
Foneshow to Sponsor Miller's Live Broadcasts From the Conventions
Foneshow, the leader in radio-on-demand for
mobile phones, today announced a new partnership to distribute original
content from progressive talk show host Stephanie Miller, as she broadcasts
live from the radio rows of the Democratic and Republican National
Conventions. Through this affiliation Stephanie Miller fans can access
show content anywhere, anytime, for free via mobile using Foneshow's patent
pending technology.
Foneshows of The Stephanie Miller Show will include "Right Wing World,"
"Stand Up News," "Tinsel Talk" and interviews with show guests, in addition
to exclusive programming only available via Foneshow. In a first for
Foneshow, the company will also sponsor the show's live coverage of the
Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Listeners can subscribe to
the content for free at www.foneshow.com/steph and www.stephaniemiller.com.
"Mobile is an important emerging platform for radio and we're thrilled to
be a part of Foneshow," said Miller. "Foneshow allows me to deliver unique
and compelling material apart from my radio program to my fans via mobile
text during both party conventions."
"Now more than ever, people need to keep a sense of humor about the
political process. Stephanie's irreverent take on the political world can
help keep both Democrats and Republicans smiling," stated Erik Schwartz,
founder and CEO of Foneshow. "A fast paced 24/7 event like a political
convention is the perfect venue for a mobile platform like Foneshow and we
believe consumers will be excited to experience this level of immediacy in
a convenient way -- anywhere on their mobile phones."
Broadcasting from flagship station KTLK AM in Los Angeles, Miller airs
live, five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 6 to 9 a.m. and is
syndicated nationally by Dial-Global out of New York and Los Angeles. She
is a frequent guest on all of the major television news channels including
MSNBC, CNN and FOX News.
Foneshow has built a telephony-based distribution platform for short-form
audio (primarily news/talk radio and podcast programming). The platform
leverages the cellular telephone network and enables users to subscribe to,
access, publish, share, and consume short-form audio programming
immediately from any cell phone. The system features the very rapid
propagation of programming from the creator to the consumer. Listeners can
chose from many news and talk radio shows and other media outlets from
around the country, including the "The Austin Hill Show," and the "Allen
Hunt Show."
