Free Concert to Follow 2nd Annual Suds on the Greens
Featuring Sacramento Sensations Aroarah and All On Seven.
Suds on the Green, Sacramento's most unique beer festival that combines UNLIMITED beer tasting with the National Golf League Sacramento Tournament, is adding another great element to the event -- a FREE Concert on the Green to start immediately following the brew fest and tournament.
"It is our goal to continue to grow this event by adding more an more elements to create the greatest party in Sacramento," says Matson Breakey, founder of CreativeCATS Presents, the producer of the event.
The day of the event features three opportunities to attend:
NGL Spectator Gallery: 10:00 am - 5:30 pm: FREE
Suds on the Green Brew Fest: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm: $20 prepay $25 onsite
Concert on the Green: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm: FREE
The brewfest will feature over 40 different types of beers. All 21 and over attendees will get a collectable pilsner-style tasting cup, a wristband and access to all the beer they can taste for four hours.
Thiry minutes after the brewfest ends, the FREE concert will begin. Aroarah, an all girl band, will headline the event. According to Sacramento News & Review this award-winning group has a nationally telecast Converse commercial and was featured in the December 2005 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. After Aroarah's 2005, 6 song release, Shavo Odadjian, of System of a Down, directed the girls E.P.K. (Electronic Press Kit) and this was all followed up by a 2007 summer tour, where with the help of booking agent Jack Knoester of Power Up Records, included dates on the Vans Warped Tour.
The opening act will be another Sacramento favorite, just coming into their own, All On Seven. The day is open to all ages and local food and craft vendors will be there sharing their wares.
The National Golf League brings professional golfers together in an exciting team-based format. The Sacramento tournament features the champion Sacramento Eagles against other Northern California teams including the Silicon Valley Drivers, the Davis Zone, the East Bay Power and the Sonoma-Marin Breakers.
