Miller Petroleum Mobilizes New Drilling Rig

HUNTSVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Miller Petroleum, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MILL) has mobilized its newly acquired 2007 Atlas RD20 III drilling rig. This rig was previously in operation inTexas and has recently been reconfigured to operate efficiently in the Appalachian Basin area. The drilling rig and support equipment have now been mobilized to drill a series of wells in Miller Petroleum's Lindsay lease holdings.

Scott M. Boruff, Miller's newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, said, "This is an exciting time for Miller Petroleum as it embarks on an aggressive drilling initiative.
