Accounting Management Solutions, Inc. (AMS), a leading provider of accounting, financial management, and consulting services to private, public, and nonprofit organizations, has been named one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States by Inc. magazine for the third consecutive year.

According to the Inc. magazine rankings, released yesterday, AMS is number 1209 among the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2004 through 2007 and includes U.S.-based, privately held, independent companies. To qualify, company revenue must have been at least $200,000 in 2004 and at least $2 million in 2007.

"It is an honor once again to be named as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the country. Our expansion is directly related to the confidence that our clients place in us, and to our people who are committed to delivering the highest quality service," said AMS President James P. Bourdon.

"This is a very exciting time for AMS, as we recently opened offices in New York and Providence," he added. "Most importantly, the marketplace is validating our business model of providing senior-level professionals who develop effective business solutions, quickly and efficiently."

In April, also for the third consecutive year, AMS was named one of the fastest-growing companies in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal, ranking number 14.
