Everyone's Thinking GreenDALLAS, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Going green has become a priority for the public and private sector throughout the nation. Technologies being developed throughoutNorth Texas are helping businesses cut costs while also helping them be energy savvy. Attendees at the Dallas Regional Chamber's Technology Business Council's Sustainable Technology Issue Forum, scheduled on August 26, will have the opportunity to interact with experts to discuss these progressive technologies. This event falls in the middle of "Sustainability Week" proclaimed by two North Texas cities.Dallas andDenton have taken the initiative to highlight the importance of "going green" and are recognizing organizations, such as the Dallas Regional Chamber, whose efforts contribute to the growth of the sustainable technologies industry inNorth Texas. The Chamber's Issue Forum will feature speakers sharing their insight and experiences during an interactive luncheon and afternoon panel sessions. Topics include: energy management solutions, financial investment opportunities, and legislative and legal strategies for a carbon cap and trade system.
