LILAH BELLE'S Healthy Meals For The Taking to Open Sept. 20th in San Francisco

Eating healthy on-the-run has never been
easier, healthier, nutritious or more delicious! LILAH BELLE'S
(www.lilahbelles.com) Healthy Food For The Taking brings a whole new take
on take-out, offering fresh, organic, balanced, low-fat, low-sodium
meals-to-go. Opening their doors this September in San Francisco (3801 18th
Street -- at Church, across from Dolores Park), busy Bay area residents can
now experience high quality, fresh and seasonal local ingredients
incorporated into a weekly changing menu of lunches and dinners, seven days
a week. LILAH BELLE'S hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-2 p.m. for
those early commuters who want to buy their lunch-to-go. After a two-hour
restocking of more fresh food for the dinner crowd, LILAH BELLE'S re-opens
4-7 p.m. Weekend hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m., perfect for a Dolores Park
picnic! All meals are made fresh daily and sold in eco-friendly
(recyclable and/or bio-degradable) microwave-safe containers for easy
heating. Price points start at $3 for a la carte items, $7 for salads and
sandwiches, to $13 for individual meals.
"Our weekly changing menu of individual and family portions, and kids sized
meals -- are ideal for everyone," states LILAH BELLE'S Owner Traci Higgins,
who is also Founder/Executive Chef of the Bay Area's leading Organic Meal
Delivery Service, DINING IN. "All meals will be prepared with organic meat
with as much local and organic produce as possible. Aside from already
being low-fat, low-sodium and well-balanced, a majority of the meals will
be under 500 calories, with at least 2-3 options per week between 350-400
calories and less than 5 grams of fat," explains Higgins, who is also
mother to daughter Lilah Isabelle Higgins, who inspired the 500 sq.ft.
store front. Chef Higgins is aware every well-balanced meal her daughter
eats is shaping who she will be and she hopes to continue her mission of
getting the Bay area healthy with her creative and convenient healthy meals
for the taking.
Additionally, LILAH BELLE'S will offer fresh grain and fruit salads,
desserts under 300 calories and refreshing beverages. But these will be
the only items which will look familiar to a LILAH BELLE'S regular -- as
variety is the spice of life and entrée items will change weekly to keep
things fresh, exciting and inviting. Customers can get a sneak peek at
upcoming weekly menus and even pre-order their meals for the week. This
makes it convenient for take-out regulars, commuters, nearby residents and
even groups who plan to take advantage of nearby Dolores Park. Aside from
being customer-friendly, LILAH BELLE'S knows park frequenters are often
with their pooches. Tie-up stations are on the side with water bowls and
treats so four-legged friends can relax while their owners are shopping for
take-out.
Ideal for the person who is trying to lose weight or the busy professional
who is in a food rut, or families who want an easy time-saving way to put a
nutritious meal on the dinner table without having to shop, cook or clean,
LILAH BELLE'S is a true San Francisco healthy lifestyle eating change
that's both fun and convenient.
