Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Awards Cactus Three-Year Contract

DENVER, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Cactus, aDenver-based full service ad agency, has been selected as the agency of record for the Center for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). The three-year contract will extend Cactus' partnership with CDPHE to more than seven years.

"From day one, Cactus has been committed to makingColorado a better place to live, work, prosper and raise healthy children. This has certainly been the case working with CDPHE," said Joe Conrad, Cactus founder and strategic director. "With their support and guidance, we have been determined to create world-class campaigns that resonate with the audience, produce high-impact results and generate the greatest return on investment for the funds created by Amendment 35 (the 2004 voter-approved tobacco excise tax designated for public health programs)."

Winning the new CDPHE business is big for Cactus, which has doubled its staff and revenue in the last two years, quickly approaching $20 million in client billings. Last August, Cactus won the significant Colorado Lottery account and continues to grow relationships with clients including University of Colorado Hospital and Westwood College.
