People Working Cooperatively, Humana to Help 25 Low-Income Louisville Homeowners With Sept. 27 Event

CINCINNATI, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On September 27, People Working Cooperatively (PWC) celebrates its firstLouisville event: People Working Cooperatively inLouisville. More than 250 Louisville-area volunteers will provide home repairs, modifications and maintenance services for 25 low-income elderly or disabled homeowners in the greaterLouisville area. The event is presented by Humana, with support fromLowes, Fifth Third Bank, Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC, Messer Construction and Viox Services.

Volunteers will be supervised by PWC's professional repair staff. Headquartered inCincinnati, the 33-year-old non-profit agency provides critical home repairs, modifications and services to low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners in the greaterCincinnati/northernKentucky area.

Title sponsor Humana has supported PWC's events inCincinnati for several years, but this is the first such event inLouisville.
