Chico's: Debbie Phelps's Lucky Charm!

Prior to her departure forChina, Debbie Phelps visited her favorite Chico's store inTowson, Maryland to purchase herBeijing wardrobe. She spent the week cheering her son to record breaking gold while wearing Chico's signature Travelers Collection and unique Novelty Print tops. Now Debbie's long list of accomplishments not only includes mother to the world's greatest athlete, but also fashion plate!

"Before I left forBeijing, I went to Chico's and picked out my entire wardrobe for the trip. I knew I was going to need to be prepared for a variety of events, activities and climates so I picked key pieces that I could mix and match, dress up, and dress down. That's what I love about Chico's; their clothes aren't only well made but also great for travel. They drape beautifully, don't cling, and flatter all body types. I'm a jewelry person, so I love that you can change the accessories and have an entirely new look. It's fun. I love Chico's," says Debbie Phelps.

Deborah S. Phelps is a dedicated educator, proud parent and principal of Windsor Mill Middle School inBaltimore, Maryland. She is an active member in her community working with several local non-profit and educational organizations throughoutMaryland as well as with national organizations such as ADHD Moms.

A native ofAllegany County, in westernMaryland, Phelps earned her master's degree in education management and supervision from Loyola College, inBaltimore, in 1998 and her bachelor's degree of arts in education from Fairmont State College, inFairmont, West Virginia, in 1973.
