Stater Bros. Markets Invests $1.3 Million in Major Remodel of Bloomington Supermarket

The newly remodeled Supermarket has remained open during the entire remodel process, and a 4-week Re-Grand Opening Celebration will begin on August 20, 2008.

Stater Bros. has been serving its customers at this location since 1975.

Customers will notice that all the departments in the newly remodeled Bloomington Stater Bros. Supermarket have been expanded to offer a greater variety of products and more services. The new enhancements include:

    -- New Full-Service "Fresh" Seafood Department
    -- New Full-Service Floral Department with floral experts to help with the
       preparation and selection of fresh-cut flowers, bouquets, arrangements,
       potted plants, and home decor items
    -- New interior lighting, flooring and design
    -- New energy efficient lighting and refrigerated cases
    -- Expanded Full-Service Meat Department with famous Stater Bros. Butchers
       behind the counter
    -- Expanded Delicatessen offering a complete selection of fresh salads,
       premium deli meats, a wide variety of domestic and imported cheeses,
       and meals-to-go including Stater Bros. famous Golden Fried Chicken
       prepared in zero trans fat per serving oil
    -- Expanded Hot Bakery featuring freshly baked La Brea Fine Artisan Breads
       and rolls, elegant desserts, premium ice cream cakes, and custom-made
       decorated cakes for all occasions including picture cakes
    -- Expanded Garden Fresh Produce Department with over 800 items including
       an organic selection
