Online Independent TV Festival PilotLite Looking For TV Pilot Submissions

PilotLite ">, the brainchild of Michael Mailer Films and Joseph Matheny's DPRGRM, will showcase the pilots of aspiring filmmakers as a promising online destination. PilotLite will aid filmmakers in creating exposure for their work among industry professionals and the general public.

PilotLite is a joint venture of Michael Mailer Films and Joseph Matheny's DPRGRM. Michael Mailer Films, a New York City-based development and production company, has produced over 15 films including Two Girls & A Guy, Empire, Black & White and its upcoming release, The Lodger. DPRGRM, is a Los Angeles, California-based company that specializes in online and immersive experiences, and produces online and crossover events and specials.

"PilotLite offers an opportunity to reveal a whole universe of virtual content, in the form of television pilots, that has never seen the light of day," says Michael Mailer of Michael Mailer Films Inc. "This new project will showcase some of this extraordinary material."

PilotLite is a Web site dedicated to bringing a voice to aspiring filmmakers in the television industry by featuring undiscovered pilots online. Working with Michael Mailer Films and DPRGRM, PilotLite will serve as a vehicle to connect artists to the public with the goal of generating a studio contract or an online series.

All submissions will be accepted as entries in the next contest. The top three pilots will be the featured on the main page of PilotLite.com. Following this contest, PilotLite will hold quarterly contests with more prizes and opportunities for a television or online series contract.

All submissions are evaluated for quality and must be in DVD or online upload format.
