American Hospital Management Company Contracted to Open New Network of Multi-Specialty Diagnostic Centers in the Dominican Republic
LONGMONT, Colo. andSANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, Aug. 14
/PRNewswire/ -- Effective July 1st, 2008, American Hospital Management Company
(AHMC) has begun management of InterCare, a network of multi-specialty,
diagnostic poly-clinics throughout theDominican Republic with the first
center scheduled to open in December of 2008 in the capital,Santo Domingo.
AHMC's executive, Erick Vides, MD, will lead the project and network of
centers.
The Network of Primary Care Centers being developed by InterCare Health
System is the result of an in depth study and analysis of the healthcare
market of theDominican Republic. We found theDominican Republic to have the
proper political, economical, legal and social environment for a project of
this nature and have no doubt, that together with our partners and strategic
allies we will contribute to the wellness of the communities we will be
