The Ladies of The View are Calling a Truce

It seems to be ceasefire for all the ladies of ABC's The View, as Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sherri Shepherd come together for the first time to be officially photographed.

Shepherd being the final woman to be sitting on The View roundtable may have marked the end of an era filled with controversies.

In its early years, The View was supposed to be a show where the ladies got along real well, discussing current events and the latest issues without having such heated debates. But as the years went on, there have been clashes both on and off the set.

For instance, rumors of Star Jones Reynolds being fired from The View as well as the possible bad blood between her and Walters; O'Donnell's commenting on Jones Reynolds' weight loss, and her infamous dialogue with Hasselbeck over the war in Iraq.

In other words, major drama equals major ratings.

However, with Sherri in the center and putting good distance between Whoopi and Elizabeth, it seems as if the ladies of The View are letting go of the past, and starting over with a clean slate.
