Rise and Shine with Bacon and the Wake n' Bacon Alarm Clock

Last night I was flipping through the television channels when I came across an episode of the TV show, The Office, when I see Michael Scott (Steve Carell) burn his foot on a George Foreman Grill while cooking bacon.
Needless to say he needs to explain to the office that he can't walk and he needs a ride to work, so he tells his co-worker Pam (Jenna Fischer) that each morning he enjoys having breakfast in bed and loves waking up to the smell of bacon. He goes on to say that that he sets it out each night before he goes to sleep and then when he wakes up he simply plugs it in and a few minutes later he is enjoying bacon and that is the perfect way to start his day!
When I sat down to write about this I did a Google search on this episode when I came across a new invention called the Wake n' Bacon Alarm Clock. The founders say that this alarm clock is perfect for bacon lovers who want to rise and shine with the delicious aroma of melting pig fat flowing in their nostrils.
All you need to do is stick a strip of frozen bacon into its tray before you go to bed; then you set the alarm. Ten minutes before the alarm is set to go off, the Wake n' Bacon turns on two halogen bulbs that slowly cook the bacon.
I am not sure that this alarm clock is dishwasher safe or anybody would actually use the thing, but it would definitely make a fun gift!
