Award-winning, acclaimed short film, Collector, to screen at the 4th Annual Hollyshorts Film Festival

The film, Collector, is a selection for Hollyshorts and collecting fans with viewing audiences in screenings across the U.S. The highly anticipated West Coast screening in Hollywood at Laemmles Sunset 5 Theatre is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Aug. 9 during theHollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF) 4:35 p.m. program.

Starring the late Brad Renfro (The Client, Apt Pupil, Bully, The Jacket), Collector captured the prestigious Best of Show award with an Honorable Mention for Direction from the 2008 The Accolade Competition. The film also won Best Sound Design from the 2008 Action on Film Festival, and Brad Renfro landed Best Actor in the short film category.

Collector was honored as an official selection in this year's Philadelphia Independent Film Festival and the West Hollywood Film Festival.

Upcoming official selections and screenings will be at the Hermosa Short Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival, Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival, Downtown Film Festival - Los Angeles and the ACE Film Festival - New York.
