Two Degrees Appoints Managing Director for Portland Office and Principal Associates Practice

New Leadership Broadening Two Degrees Brand in Portland Market, Enhancing Client Service and Securing Local Talent

Two Degrees, a national accounting and finance professional services firm, today announced that Alex Nelson joined its leadership team. In his new position as managing director, Nelson will oversee the Portland office.

Building on the existing momentum in Portland, Nelson will be laser-focused on growing the PA practice and improving brand awareness. The PA practice differentiates Two Degrees from competitors by addressing common finance and accounting challenges including interim financial management, SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, international accounting, and process improvement and compliance.

Nelson previously served as Vice President at CrossCurrent, a software startup, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of CrossCurrent's sales and marketing strategies. Prior to that, Nelson managed the Pacific Northwest region for Cephalon.
