LanOptics Changes its Corporate Name to EZchip Semiconductor

The corporate name change follows the change in the company's trading symbol to EZCH in January 2008, and the company's acquisition of substantially all of the outstanding shares of its subsidiary, EZchip Technologies.

"The new company name better reflects our corporate mission - to make EZchip the leading network processor vendor," said Eli Fruchter, CEO of EZchip. "Clients already know us by our EZchip name. Combining the two company names under the EZchip brand name concludes a long process of simplifying our corporate structure."
