'POTUS Press Pool' from XM's presidential election channel to reach Paltalk's millions of chat users

NEW YORK, July 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Paltalk, the leading real-time, video-based community, today announced that its online video chat platform will broadcast the show "POTUS Press Pool," from XM Radio's popular presidential election channel POTUS 08. Starting today, Paltalk's four million chat users worldwide will be able to view "POTUS Press Pool" on Paltalk.com/xm, weekdays from 2-4pm EST.

Anchored by Joe Mathieu, "POTUS Press Pool" updates the daily stories that are making headlines and the ones that the mainstream news outlets don't have the time to cover. "POTUS '08" is heard from coast to coast on XM channel 130. As a public service, XM is broadcasting the channel for free to all XM radios. Web users can listen to "POTUS '08" for free for two weeks by signing up for a free trial at http://www.xmradio.com/potus.

"This announcement represents Paltalk bringing its unique and interactive socialcasting platform to the best shows in the satellite radio landscape," said Joel Smernoff, President and COO of Paltalk. "We feel that XM Radio's depth of content mirrors the wide range of topics available on our platform, and 'Press Pool' is the first in what we hope will be a number of XM programs that will be added to our platform in the coming weeks and months."

By logging on to Paltalk.com/XM, viewers can interact live with the show's host, Joe Mathieu, during the show. Mathieu will broadcast the show from the POTUS studios inWashington, DC, where Paltalk has installed webcams to capture the action in the studio and behind the scenes in real time. Mathieu will also have the ability to take questions from the POTUS room and discuss with the listening audience.

The XM Radio partnership comes on the heels of the beta release of PaltalkExpress, the Flash-enabled version of the company's software, complete with new features and enhanced service upgrades. Paltalk, which began the socialcasting movement by combining traditional media content, social networking, and an interactive video community all onto its platform, plans to announce other partnerships similar to the XM Radio announcement, and the formal launch of PaltalkExpress next month.
