Sedona: Mecca For UFOs, Nature Lovers And New Age Disciples
By Robert Paul Reyes
Sedona is a city in the Verde Valley region of Arizona; it has a population of around 12,000. For a small community Sedona attracts a lot of attention, some of it from beyond our solar system.
"Sedona's main attraction is its stunning array of red sandstone formations, the Red Rocks of Sedona. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The Red Rocks form a breathtaking backdrop for everything from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails."

Sedona has some scenery that takes your breath away; tourists come from all over the world to marvel at the magnificent vistas.
But it's not just nature lovers who come to Sedona, this wonderful locale has become the Mecca for New Age devotees.
"There is a specialized New Age tourist industry in Sedona, where the 'Harmonic Convergence' was organized in 1987. Some purported 'spiritual vortices' are said to be concentrated in the Sedona area at Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, Boynton Canyon, and Schnebly Hill."

To add to the fun Sedona is also a hot spot for UFO activity. I'm a native of San Francisco and I thought the City by the Bay had an eclectic mix, but Sedona is a very interesting place with nature lovers, UFO true believers and New Agers bumping into each other.
I wouldn't discount the UFO phenomenon in Sedona; I'm sure these extraterrestrial tourists want to capture video of one of the most scenic areas on Earth.
Sedona is on my list of places I want to visit before I die. Where else can I see fantastic rock formations, colorful New Age characters and possibly a UFO? If I'm lucky a UFO might even give me a ride back home.
