Luminary Micro and Arrow UEC Japan KK Announce Distribution Agreement


AUSTIN, Texas, andTOKYO, July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Arrow UEC Japan KK, and Luminary Micro, creators of the world's largest portfolio of ARM(R) Cortex(TM)-M3-based microcontrollers (MCUs), announced today they have entered into a distribution agreement. Effective immediately, customers will have access to Luminary Micro's award-winning Stellaris microcontroller products through Arrow UEC Japan's sales and support centers inJapan.

Luminary Micro's Stellaris family of microcontrollers currently contains over 100 feature-rich MCUs, supported by low-cost evaluation kits and full reference design kits, all available through Arrow UEC Japan KK. Stellaris mixed-signal microcontrollers contain specialized capabilities for applications in the energy, security, and connectivity markets. The Stellaris line of MCUs is targeted at embedded and industrial applications, such as building and home automation; factory automation and control; industrial control power devices; stepper motors; brushed and brushless DC motors; and AC induction motors.
