Nightmare: George W. Bush's Image on American Currency
By Robert Paul Reyes
Some presidents are considered failures by their contemporaries, but are rated much higher by historians. Harry Truman was considered an ineffectual dullard, at one point during his second term his ratings plunged to the lowest point for any president. But today Truman is included in the pantheon of great presidents.
George W. Bush's ratings have sunk even lower than Truman's, and he is regarded as one of the worst presidents in history. But unless the Shiites, Kurds and Sunnis in Iraq join hands, blow bubbles and sing Kumbaya, Bush will forever be remembered as a dismal failure.
This cartoon scares the heck out of me, if Bush's image appeared on the dollar bill the worth of the greenback would plunge even lower.

Bush's image and reputation isn't salvageable, consider his legacy: Dollar almost worthless, mortgage meltdown, banking crisis, quagmire in Iraq, worsening situation in Afghanistan, gas through the roof, American's international reputation in tatters, global warming ignored, myriad scandals, Katrina, millions uninsured...
Bush bears an uncanny resemblance to Alfred E. Neuman, his mug belongs on Monopoly money.
It's hard to erase the image of the Bush dollar bill, I had to pull out a dollar bill from my wallet just to make sure it was George Washington staring back at me.
