On Wisconsin Public Radio, Thomas Boyle Said Political Laughter Helps Us Face Brutal Facts: Obama and McCain Missed the Foreclosure Disaster While Sitting in the Senate at the Seat of Power on the Seat of Their Pants

BURLINGTON, Wis., July 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Thomas Boyle, the democratic nominee wannabe, speaking on the Kathleen Dunn Show with New York Columnist Bill Carter said, "I put funny things in my website to soften people up for hard facts. A politician who can make people laugh is 'dangerous'. Kennedy would start speeches with a joke. I make 'speech songs' for that reason."

Boyle, the former US Capitol Page said, "Growing up in Congress you learn it is a very funny place. There is always a joke going around. I met most of the presidents since Truman. They all had a pretty good sense of humor. You need one."

Commenting on the Obama New Yorker Magazine cover, Boyle said, "In order for a joke to be funny, you have to set it up. If that picture was on Mad Magazine the set up would be automatic. Obama should have laughed it off and gone forward. White comedians have trouble joking about Obama for fear of looking racist. Black comedians can say anything. The white media handles Obama with kid gloves for the same reason. The Wonkette President Boyle jokes on the Internet make me laugh. I set them up so people can write them. My 3 am phone call joke was a good one. I thought. Check it out."

Off air Boyle added, "Any guy who went to an Ivy League School and cannot pronounce the two letter word 'T, O' correctly in his TV ads inWisconsin, and has three hundred advisors who have not corrected him, makes me question him, his advisors and the Ivy League school. I am the moderate in the race for president.

"No media people question McCain or Obama's claims of being 'presidential timber' while one and a half million people lost their homes to foreclosure. Neither saw it coming, recognized it while it was happening or had a solution. That is not leadership. I did raise a warning on this radio station. President Boyle would have acted. A president has to be a forward thinker on top of things. It is not funny," Boyle concluded.
