AeroSat Announces Newly Appointed Chairman


AMHERST, N.H., July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- AeroSat Corporation today announced that David H. Rowe, a seasoned aerospace executive, has been appointed Chairman of the Board. Rowe was appointed to this position by AeroSat's Board of Directors at the company's most recent board meeting.

"I am pleased to have been a member of AeroSat's board for the past year and now I look forward to taking on the role of Chairman," said Rowe. "The company has cutting-edge satellite antenna technology and is poised for tremendous growth. I anticipate continued success for AeroSat and I am glad to play a leadership role in taking the company to the next level."

Mr. Rowe is Co-founder and Managing Partner of AeroEquity, an investment firm established in 1998 that provides management expertise, strategic direction and financial resources to companies in the aerospace and aero-derivative industries. Prior to AeroEquity, Rowe served five years as Executive Vice President of Gulfstream Financial Services Corporation (GFSC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Gulfstream Aerospace, and thirteen years in various operating positions with General Electric and GE Capital. Rowe is also on the Board of Directors of Kellstrom Industries and TurboCombustor Technologies. He has previously served on the Boards of Grand Prairie Accessory Services, Notable Solutions, Inc., Douglas Machining and Landmark Aviation.

As Chairman, Rowe will continue to serve alongside fellow board members Leslie B. Daniels, David C. Hurley, Douglas Kahn, Mark Morrissette, Jack M. Schofield, Richard N. Swett, Sherwood (Woody) D. Goldberg, Esquire, and Michael Barrett.
