Longview Capital Partners Acquires Additional Shares of Salmon River Resources Ltd.

("Longview") (TSX: LV) issues this press release pursuant to Section 111 of
the Securities Act (British Columbia), Section 141 of the Securities Act
(Alberta) and Section 101 of the Securities Act (Ontario) with respect to
Salmon River Resources Ltd. ("Salmon River")
Pursuant to a private transaction effective July 16, 2008, Longview
acquired 1,036,005 common shares of Salmon River at a price of $0.10 per
share. These shares represent approximately 9.10% of the issued and
outstanding common shares of Salmon River.
The acquisition of these additional shares increased Longview's holdings to
2,137,005 common shares or approximately 18.78% of Salmon River's current
issued and outstanding share capital.
Longview acquired these securities for investment purposes, thus depending
on the economic or market conditions or matters relating to Salmon River,
Longview may choose to either acquire additional securities or dispose of
Salmon River.
