TicketNews announces top ticket sellers rankings for the week ending July 12, 2008.

TOP 20 OVERALL SELLERS

For the second week in a row, Live Nation was in fourth place with a power score less than 7, a drastic decline from the 4-week temporary second-place position the company held in the rankings from week ending 06/07/08 to week ending 06/28/08. At the end of the year, LiveNation's contract with Ticketmaster will end. Shakira, Madonna and Jay-Z have already formed deals with the company.

This week, Ticketmaster and Live Nation announced additional partnerships. OurStage, a music discovery destination providing professional opportunities for up-and-coming talent, has partnered with Live Nation; Ticketmaster partnered with Simon Property Group, Inc. and will have an on-mall retail location.

Ticketmaster continued to dominate the overall ticket market last week, with a power score of 45.77. Most of the highest-selling ticket sellers retained their positions from last week, with little change in their power scores. Most notably, GoTickets.com climbed two positions, while Telecharge.com and Justbuytickets.com each fell by two places.

StubHub continued to dominate the secondary ticket market. TicketsNow and TicketLiquidator maintained their positions in second and third places, with power scores of 20.90 and 4.86, respectively. JumboTickets.com reappeared on the charts in 20th place, while Justbuytickets.com and Vividseats.com each climbed a position from last week.
