Optical Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: OPSY) today announced that they have signed a Letter of Intent to enter into a Joint Venture agreement with Text-4-Cars.com. The joint venture allows OPSY to offer "Save-A-Deal" to the Canadian market with a partner that already has established relationships with auto dealers. The Joint Venture will also give OPSY a new product line with substantial revenue potential that positions the company to outperform their current forecasted estimates.

Harley-Davidson beats by $0.19, beats on revs; reaffirms FY08 EPS guidance (NYSE: HOG): Harley-Davidson Inc. said Thursday its second-quarter profit fell sharply as a weak economy, record-high gas prices and lower consumer confidence continued to hobble the iconic motorcycle maker's shipments and sales. The results beat Wall Street estimates. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial expected earnings of 76 cents per share on $1.4 billion in revenue, on average.

Hunt Gold Corporation (PINKSHEETS: HGLC): Hunt Gold traded has high as $.01 on massive volume of over 88 million shares on share buyback and sale of their American Molygold mining interests.

General Motors (NYSE: GM): Shares of U.S. automakers rocketed Wednesday as Wall Street took comfort in GM's announcement that it was cutting its work force and production and suspending its dividend in an effort to stay solvent in an increasingly challenging market.
