Thursday Night Market Off, But Folsom Melodrama Still Playing
By Alan Gray, FolsomLocalNews.com
Due to the severe weather forecast, this evening's Thursday Night Market has been cancelled. Folsom Historic District Association President, Jim Snook (Snook's Candies) made the final decision, to safeguard the health of visitors and vendors after it was obvious the smoke would not disperse and the temperature wouldn't drop.
Hopefully, conditions will be better next Thursday.
Anyone still looking for a great night out is welcome at Stage Nine Theatre, where Connie Mockenhaupt told FolsomLocalNews that the Melodrama, "Folsom's Saga of Sagebrush Sal" is still being performed tonight at 8:00pm. Mike Jimena said "Come have a good time - We have air conditioning."
Snooks will be open until 9pm and all the restaurants will be open as usual - the Hacienda is open until 10pm and Chicago Fire until 9pm
So if you're looking for a good time, come on down to Sutter Street.
