Chief Financial Officer Named for Enexus


NEW ORLEANS, July 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) continues to make progress preparing for its spin-off of the non-utility nuclear business, and today, Dean Keller was named executive vice president and chief financial officer for Enexus Energy Corporation.

Keller joins Enexus with more than 10 years of expansive financial markets experience at Citigroup Global Markets Inc., most recently as managing director - investment banking and co-head of the North American Power Group, where he advised a wide range of energy-focused clients and participated in transactions exceeding $100 billion.

"Dean has been an invaluable resource to Entergy and brings a deep knowledge of the financial markets, along with his direct experience in all facets of investment banking in the utility business, making him an excellent addition to the Enexus leadership team," said Rick Smith, currently president of Entergy Corporation and chief executive officer designate of Enexus Energy Corporation.

Keller earned his bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Vermont and his juris doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. His appointment at Enexus will be effective August 4, 2008. Functions reporting to Keller at Enexus are expected to include accounting, treasury, investor relations, internal audit, tax, risk analysis, and planning and development.

Enexus will be headquartered inJackson, Miss. and will own six wholesale reactors that are part of Entergy's 11-reactor fleet, including Vermont Yankee inVernon, Vt.; Pilgrim Station inPlymouth, Mass.; the James A. FitzPatrick plant nearOswego, N.Y.; thePalisades plant inCovert, Mich., and two reactors at the Indian Point Energy Center inBuchanan, N.Y.
