New Poll Shows Missourians Believe K-12 School Reform Needed to Secure U.S. Economic Future
ED in 08 Executive Director Marc Lampkin to discuss findings before the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus
WASHINGTON, July 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- ED in 08 Executive Director Marc Lampkin will be inMissouri on Friday to discuss the findings of a recent poll in which Missourians express fear that shortcomings in American schools will jeopardize the economic well-being of their children. He will address members of the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus, including statewide elected officials and business and community leaders, at the group's kickoff breakfast at the Hilton Frontenac on Friday, July 11th. Lampkin will draw a connection between basic education skills, such as math, reading and science, and students' economic success.
Strong American Schools is a nonpartisan public awareness and advocacy effort aimed at elevating discussion amongst America's leaders about the need for education reform.
