Holy Crap: San Francisco Wants to Name a Sewage Plant After George Bush

George W. Bush is regarded as one of the worst presidents in history; he has been a disaster for the economy, the environment and our international reputation.

How do we commemorate the ineptitude and corruption of the Bush administration? Adding his smirking face to Mt. Rushmore is out of the question, and even naming a nursery school after him would be an injustice.

Leave it to the enlightened folks of San Francisco to come up with the perfect solution:

"A California group submitted a proposal Monday to rename a sewage treatment plant after President Bush, calling the initiative a fitting tribute to the outgoing chief executive and the "mess" he'll leave behind.

The Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco wants to switch the name of the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant to the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

Supporters hoping to put the issue on the November ballot turned in more than 10,000 signatures to San Francisco election officials, organizer Brian McConnell said. The measure needs just over 7,000 valid names to qualify and McConnell expects to find out later this month whether they made it."

Bush is an incontinent toddler, his speech is indecipherable and he leaves his messes (Iraq war, Katrina, failing economy) everywhere. President Barack Obama will spend the first year of his administration cleaning up Bush's accidents.

If the sophisticated folks of San Francisco pass this measure in November, it will go a long ways to restoring America's good name. It will demonstrate to the international community that Bush's incompetence and warmongering are not tolerated by the American people.

There might be a few Republicans who think this plan stinks, but the rest of us believe that Bush is full of crap and that naming a sewage plant after him is a swell idea.
