PHOTOS: Iron Eagle Soldiers arrive in Baghdad

CAMP TAJI, Iraq-Soldiers from the Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, prepare to disembark a U.S. Air Force aircraft June as the bulk of the unit arrived in Baghdad for the start of their 15-month mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The unit will be working directly for the Multi-National Division - Baghdad and 4th Inf. Div. Commanding General Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond and will provide aerial support to thousands of Soldiers operating in and near the Iraqi Capital.
CAMP TAJI, Iraq-Sgt. Larry Gootee, a mechanic, Company E, 2nd Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, looks on as a dust storm rolls through the Iraqi capital June 29. Gootee along with thousands of other Soldiers of the CAB have recently arrived in country to begin their 15-month mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dust storms are common during the mid-summer months due to the lack of precipitation in the region.
