Solange Knowles, Lyfe Jennings, Trin-i-tee 5:7 and Brian C. Wilson to Perform During the 2008 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans

Music World Entertainment's artists head to New Orleans for several performances during The Essence Music Festival.

The Essence Music Festival is the nation's largest annual gathering of African-American musical talent, featuring an unprecedented three days of cultural celebrations and empowerment seminars and three nights of performances by some of today's greatest African-American artists. During this year's festival, on Saturday, July 5th, Solange Knowles will be performing in the Chevy Superlounge and in the McDonald's Superlounge will be Lyfe Jennings. Saturday, July 5th at 12:00 to 1:00 PM, Solange will be signing autographs in the Wal-Mart booth for her fans. On Sunday, July 6th, Trin-i-tee 5:7 will be performing during "An Afternoon of Praise, Worship & Inspiration" at 12 noon in the Convention Center and Solange Knowles will do a meet and greet at the Baby Jamz Play Booth from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

For sale during the festival will be "Essence Music Festival, Volume 1," which was released, June 17, 2008 on Mathew Knowles' Music World Music. The CD features studio recordings of music performed at the Essence Music Festival's triumphant 2007 return to New Orleans, LA, last year. This release is the first in a series of CDs and DVDs featuring music and live performances from Essence Music Festivals from the past, present, future as well as other compilations. The A-list lineup on "Volume 1" includes Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Ciara, Robin Thicke, Lyfe Jennings, Solange, Common, Maze ft. Frankie Beverly, The O'Jays and newcomer, Brian Courtney Wilson!

Additionally, the first Baby Jamz DVD will be available at a very limited quantity exclusively at the Wal-Mart booth inside the convention center. "Baby Jamz Daily Lessons and Jams Sessions" is 25-minute, educational "sing-along" experience developed as an extension to the successful Baby Jamz Toys line. Featuring modern-day, beat-driven versions of classic children's songs such as "Twinkle, Twinkle," "Wheels on the Bus" and "Old MacDonald," the program is centered upon Music World Kids' successful Baby Jamz Audio CD, Executive Produced by Matthew and Solange Knowles' and featuring the Artists of Music World Entertainment.

Inside the convention center, Baby Jamz will host daily play-time within their toy-filled booth.
