Steven E. Pickett Promoted to President & CEO of Telmar Network Technology
IRVINE, Calif., July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Telmar Network Technology announced
the appointment of Steven E. Pickett as President and Chief Executive Officer
of the company. Mr. Pickett formerly served as Chief Operating Officer for
Telmar. The company also announced that John K. Kidwell will retire from
Telmar as President & Chief Executive Officer after a period of transition.
Mr. Kidwell said, "We recruited Steve more than a year ago with the goal
of succession. During his tenure he has displayed the skills and results of a
leader and I am proud to have him assume the role." Mr. Kidwell served as the
company's President and CEO since 2000.
Prior to joining Telmar, Mr. Pickett was a Sr. Vice President of
Alcatel-Lucent, serving as GM of the Optical Network Division. "I am greatly
encouraged by the opportunity I see for the continued success of Telmar in
bringing high quality and cost-effective solutions to our OEM, Enterprise, and
Service Provider customers," said Mr. Pickett. "I am deeply honored to be
succeeding John Kidwell, he has been a friend and mentor to me, and a great

The company will continue to operate out ofIrvine, California. Mr.
Pickett will be based out of the company'sPlano, Texas office.
