NET and Quintum to Showcase VoIP Multipath Switches and Gateways at the Upcoming Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference
Presence Will Highlight Solutions for Microsoft's Unified Communications

Network Equipment
Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: NWK), a global provider of multi-service network
and VoIP solutions for government and enterprise customers, and its
subsidiary, Quintum Technologies, an innovator in VoIP technologies,
announced today that they will be exhibiting together at the upcoming
Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston from Tuesday, July 8th,
through Thursday, July 10th, 2008. They will be co-located in booth #209.
Both NET and Quintum are Microsoft Gold Certified Partners and offer
products that are certified by Microsoft to be interoperable with Microsoft
Office Communications Server 2007. The companies have developed a
customized Microsoft configuration wizard to simplify deployment of the
gateways, and they offer worldwide representation, extensive sales
engineering resources, and 7x24 technical support and training.
NET's VX Series VoIP products support easy integration of Microsoft OCS
2007 into today's enterprise voice networks. The VX Series products offer
"Any-to-Any" voice switching (SIP to SIP, TDM to TDM and SIP to TDM) to
simplify VoIP network integration, and SIP to SIP mediation to interface
with standard SIP-based PBXs, IP-PBXs, SIP endpoints and SIP service
providers. The VX Series provides secure voice communications and
high-performance call capacity.
Quintum's Tenor offers a Unified Communications Proxy, which also supports
"Any-to-Any" VoIP switching, as well as the ability to support branch
office deployments while minimizing total cost of ownership. Tenors are
noted for their breadth of VoIP enterprise gateway options and
configurations, supporting from two analog FXS/FXO ports up to 32 T1/E1/PRI
spans. Quintum is also a 2008 Microsoft Partner of the Year Finalist.
NET and Quintum have also both put together a promotion targeted at
Microsoft voice partners to draw attention to and increase awareness of
their joint presence. The promotion offers Microsoft voice partners the
ability to purchase an NET VX 1200 or a Tenor as a not-for-resale unit at a
discounted price, and receive free set up and training.
"The NET VX Series and Quintum Tenor both address the needs of companies
looking to deploy unified communications in their existing voice and data
networks," said Chuck Rutledge, Vice President of Marketing for both NET
and Quintum. "NET and Quintum are committed to simplifying that process."
