Master P and Romeo Take High Cost out of High Fashion and Bring P.Miller Designs to Wal-Mart

With the economy slumping and gas prices on
the rise, Master P and Romeo have taken the cost out of high fashion by
bringing their affordable P.Miller clothing to Wal-Mart. The father-son
duo's clothing is known as "The Great American Brand" and is already the
hottest line for kids this back-to-school season.
The P.Miller clothing line combines designer style with great value and is
targeted at working families from all walks of life. Additionally, the line
consists of the same quality and styles of clothing available at pricey
department stores.

For about the price of a DVD, shoppers can pick up a variety of
high-fashion P.Miller clothing. Whereas a Polo® brand shirt can cost
upwards of $90 at a regular store, a P.Miller Designs shirt can be had for
$9. While Sean John® button-downs retail for $100, a designer P.Miller
garment only costs $10. Even P.Miller jeans are affordable; costing $20 --
one-tenth the price of similarly-styled True Religion jeans (retail $200).
"I figured out a way to make clothes affordable for inner-city families,"
said Master P. "We use the same factories and the same materials as Sean
John, Rocawear, and Ed Hardy. These are quality clothes you'd normally find
at a department store like Macy's. Now you can pick up the same high-end
fashion at an affordable price."
Today's families have it hard enough with rent, gas, food, bills, tuition,
and mounting debts. P.Miller Designs allows people to look good and feel
good, all without breaking the bank.
"Kids don't need to worry anymore about being bullied at school for wearing
old clothes," continued Master P. "Likewise, parents don't need to choose
between filling up the gas tank or filling up the closet. We're helping
families dress fresh for less."
P.Miller Designs is also making history as the first African-American
hip-hop supplier to Wal-Mart. Sharing the same vision as Dottie Mattison,
Wal-Mart's senior vice president and general manager for apparel, Master P
and Romeo have also created a women's line called Miller Peaches with
clothes selling for $10 or less. P.Miller brand shoes, jewelry, fragrances,
and
eco-friendly organic cotton clothes are also in the works.
"Wal-Mart is such a diverse organization, they're making a lot of
opportunities available to minority-owned companies that are ready to do
business with a big corporation," said Master P. "This is the makings of a
great partnership with the number-one retailer in the world. Together we're
making it cool to shop for clothes at Wal-Mart."
P.Miller is committed to giving back to the community through its education
and sports programs such as P.Miller Youth Centers,
Basketball Camps, and the Gee Gee
the Giraffe cartoon, toys, and books. P.Miller Designs is also taking
inner-city kids off the streets and creating jobs and opportunities for
them in fashion and design that they wouldn't otherwise have.
"The fashion industry is changing," added Master P. "Consumers are being
more cautious about spending their hard-earned dollar, but people still
want to look good. P.Miller is serving the needs of those consumers by
providing the latest designs at great prices. We're not building P.Miller
as just a trendy fashion line; we are creating a sustainable brand that is
here to stay."
