ProLogis Announces Continued Leasing Activity in Dallas
DALLAS, July 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), the world's
largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, announced
today that it has leased a total of 500,000 square feet to three customers in
the greaterDallas metropolitan area.
SpeedFC, aTexas-based third-party logistics provider, has leased
approximately 270,000 square feet of distribution space at Northgate
Distribution Center, located inNortheast Dallas near the intersection of
Interstate 635 and Interstate 75. The company will use the space to provide
third-party fulfillment, call center and Web development services to consumer
and business-to-business companies. SpeedFC is expanding and consolidating its
supply chain operations inTexas with this new distribution center.
Siemens Government Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens AG, has
leased approximately 115,000 square feet inDallas. Siemens AG currently
leases a combined total of more than 550,000 square feet in various locations
acrossthe United States.
CHEP USA, a global leader in pallet and container pooling services, has
leased approximately 120,000 square feet of distribution space at Dallas
Corporate Center, located at the intersection of Interstate 635 and Interstate
35E, near theDallas Fort Worth International Airport. The company will use
the space to provide pallet management services for CHEP customers in the
Texas market. CHEP employs more than 7,700 people worldwide and operates in 45
countries.
