TEMPE, Ariz., July 1, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- OrthoLogic Corp. announced today that the Company was added to the Russell Microcap Index as part of the Russell Investment Group's reconstitution of its family of U.S. indexes on June 27, 2008. Membership in the Russell Microcap Index, which remains in place for one year, results in automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. The Russell Investment Group determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.

According to Russell Investments, the Russell Microcap Index is constructed to provide a comprehensive and unbiased barometer for the microcap segment trading on national exchanges. The Russell Microcap Index measures the performance of the microcap segment of the U.S. equity market. It includes 1000 of the smallest securities in the small-cap Russell 2000(r) Index based on a combination of their market cap and current index membership; it also includes the next 1,000 securities.
